THE SILENCE BENEATH - TRAILER
SYNOPSIS
Nellie was born into privilege. She married into the unspeakable.
In Nellie’s idyllic hometown, innocence came naturally; neither she nor her neighbors could see any trace of her husband's deceit. His betrayal pierced far deeper than their marriage and her cherished family... he had calculated a sinister plot to wipe their entire town off the map. Yet even that devastation was a mere prelude to an act no one could have imagined. The true horror lay in his final move—one aimed directly at their children.
Conflict builds with harrowing suspense, taking audiences through an experience with no parallels in human history.
Home and heart become battleground of the unfathomable. Our investigation uncovers one man’s chilling betrayal of 45 Lives.
The Silence Beneath.

REVIEWS
Riveting. Soaring cinematography. The Great writer William Faulkner once wrote “History isn’t dead. It isn’t even past.” That’s why the new docudrama “The Lost Children of Bath: Investigating One Man’s Unspeakable Betrayal of 45 Lives” chronicling the Bath School bombing in 1927 is a cautionary tale of one man’s madness and the worst mass murder of children in American history.

“They know how to cut film!” I like the mosaic approach to the story, letting it develop through multiple threads and points of view. And a nice mix of witnesses, descendants, and talking head experts.

A gripping and thorough docuseries that not only informs the viewer of this collectively forgotten tragedy, but also honors its victims – both victims from May of 1927 and those in the decades to come, as profound trauma such as this reverberates through generations.
